- Last night's gig was a fun & sweet way to cap off the 2009's Summer Music Series at Brooklyn's... Smooth R&B, a little jazz, and some adorable kids.
- Thank you, to the wonderful fans who came out to see us again - and shout out to new fans Joe and Al! I know I'll be seeing you two at Primo's on Sept. 25! :)
- Thank you to Will Brooks & Rich ("Big Sexy") Smith on bass & keyboards for being sooooooooo great every time.
- Rock on, to Stu Melis, my old bandmate from Savvy years ago, for sitting in on sax - what a cool treat that was!
- Also a huge hug to my new friend, "C" (pictured below), whose love for music was stronger than his shyness. He made his way up to me a few steps every couple of minutes, swaying to the music the whole time, with his hands in his pockets all cool & sophisticated. Finally, when he was standing behind me, I felt a little hand grab mine & hold it for an entire tune. *MELT* Thank you, C, for the sweet kiss on my shoulder while I was holding you & talking with your awesome mom. You kill me!
